Whitetail deer rifle season usually starts the second Monday in November and continues for three weeks. Weather conditions during rifle season are usually cold, with a good possibility of snow. While we have enjoyed some warm temperatures during some past deer hunting seasons, we must always be prepared with cold-weather clothing, headwear, boots, and hand muffs.
